Products description

Lung Ching Special Grade - Dragon Well Tea from Pu Tuo Shan. The Special Grade comes from the 12,5 square kilometre island Pu Tuo Shan which is an important place for chinese Buddhism. Mount Foding (300m) belongs to the four holy Buddhist mountains of China. Fantastic tea! Lively, fine, nutty, tasteful - just splendid. When opening the tea tin you can smell an intense scent of light chocolate. Can be brewed hotter and colder and always tastes nice. Ideal for the "chinese everyday method" which means: tea leaves into the pot and continuously adding water (without having to empty the pot completely). It's also a good tea for a cold infusion: approx. 1 teaspoon for 0,6l cold water; then let it sit for about half an hour before starting to drink - here we'd also recommend not to empty the pot entirely but starting to add new warter before it's empty. This tea is part of the Peach Flower Project. On the Zhujian Archipelago the tea has been produced without pesticides and artificial fertilisers for over 40 years. No other industry is situated in this region. We have a couple of teas from that region in our selection. Certificate from the BCS-Ökokontrollstelle (Source: http://www.flmichaelis.de/pages/de/tee/biotee.php) Lung Ching belongs to the classic TopTen teas from China which are: Lung Ching (Dragon Well Tea), Liu An Gua Pen (sweet Melonpip from Liu An), Pi Luo Chun (Bi Lou Chun - Jadegreen Snail of the Spring), Huang Shan Mao Feng (Fine tip from the Yellow Mountains - hard to get in a good price-performance ratio), Yin Zhen Silverneedle (Bai Hao Yin Zhen), Yun Shan Yin Zhen/ Huang Ya (Yellow Shoot), Ti Kuan Yin (Oolong, Iron Goddess of Mercy), Yancha - Rocktea which often means Da Hong Pao (Big Red Robe), Qimen Hong Cha (Keemun from Anhui) and Pu Erh.
